Shuffle #2

I know it’s been a while, but I’m back… for the most part. Just enjoy today’s shuffle<3

Shuffle #1

It’s been a while… Enjoy my random picture and shuffle of dubstep/electro house/electro!

Point.Blank

Photobucket

Honestly, I couldn’t find any pictures relating to Point.Blank… But anyways, he’s always been the DJ I go back to whenever I need something really heavy, or even a classical dubstep sound. One thing about Point.Blank that has to be understood is that simple is better. He doesn’t use many custom made sounds (or instruments), but he still manages to come out with a nice sound. Enjoy Point.Blank!

Kill Kill Kill

I first started noticing Kill The Noise when he remixed Porter Robinson’s “Spitfire.” And with this new EP, “Kill Kill Kill” he’s pretty much won me over. You win Kill The Noise, you win. Anyways, just from a contrasting stand-point, I’m going to put two original mixes and their prospective remixes. Enjoy the free EP!

Oh, and here’s an extra track by Kill The Noise

Stepped Up & Scratched

Photobucket

So, Asking Alexandria’s remix album ‘Stepped Up and Scratched’ is FINALLY out. After being announced this last spring, it finally came out on November 21, 2011. I’m not personally a fan of AA, and much less a fan of metal-core genres, but this album is different. They took a bunch of their past songs and asked 13 different DJs to produce them some remixes. Some big names such as Borgore, Tomba, Celldweller, J. Rabbit, Bare and Document One are on the tracklist for this album. Even if you don’t like their genre, give this album a chance, it has really surprised me. Even with the DJs that I wasn’t familiar with. Enjoy ‘Stepped Up and Scratched’!

My favorite tracks:

Cazzette

Photobucket

This is scary.. My first post featuring a house producer. I’m normally an avid hater of house, but Cazzette put the genre into a new light for me. He does really well blending progressive house with electro dub/electro house. He also happens to be a genius with remixes and samples. Go to his soundcloud to check out some upcoming treats here

Dubsidia

Unknown, great beat, sounds like a gater effect is playing throughout all of his songs. But that’s ok! I still love it. Enjoy Dubsidia.

Check out his soundcloud here.

Hot Mess & The Mavrikk

Photobucket

Totally forgot about Hot Mess. In my opinion, they’re very underrated and have a wide array of producing/remixing abilities. For example, the differences between “You See Me” and “What You Know” are huge. Watch out for these guy’s upcoming tracks. To be continued.

I don’t care if Thissongslaps.com posted it. I’m addicted.

Grimestep & “Dominate”

I forgot how long ago I found this video/song, but it still hasn’t gotten old for me. Dope D.O.D. makes amazing videos and songs, so go check out their Evil EP and enjoy “What Happened.”

Go check out their legendary grimestep on youtube, here.

One of my all-time favorites, a remix by Minnesota on an ooold rap tune. Minnesota started in my general location and has made a pretty big name for himself in the dubstep community. Enjoy “Gotcha Money.”

Check out his soundcloud here.

Bang On!, is completely unheard of in my book. Don’t know where they/he/she came from, but I’m happy with this track, so whatever.

P. Money, a famous grime rapper decided to remix one of Magnetic Man’s epic song “Anthemic.” I’m in love with it and I think it was very well done. Here’s the official music video for Anthemic ft. P. Money:

Last, but very not least, we have a free download from Figure. Figure is a god. Praise him for his magical drumstep tracks. That are also free. Always. Enjoy “Dominate

Dcarls - Flavorhythm

A friend showed me a Dcarl’s “The Heat” on youtube and I <3’ed it. I knew he had the potential to make harder hitting stuff though, so I went on a hunt for more songs and found what I was looking for. Enjoy this underrated DJ and show him some love via soundcloud.
